Cycling UK Oxfordshire organises its own rides and we also highlight some rides run by other local groups.
Even if you are not a Cycling UK member, you will be welcome on any ride that is within your capabilities and we will be happy to match you up with suitable rides. In general, you can ride for free on three rides before deciding whether to join Cycling UK.

Oxfordshire Century (100-mile) Ride 2018
Sun 20 May 2018 - 8:00am to 7:15pm
The classic annual Century ride organised by Cycling UK Oxfordshire. Challenge yourself to cover 100 miles, but enjoy company and the support of the group on the way.
This year’s century will start at 8am from the Clover Place car park in Eynsham (Grid Ref SP432094) – map.
After some very pleasant rolling countryside in the afternoon, we’ll climb back into the Cotswolds, the easy way, through the Evenlode Gap, with a well-earned break in Kingham. The final quarter is predominantly downhill, interrupted by a short haul out of the Evenlode valley before a drop to the Windrush at Swinbrook. We’ll return to Eynsham through Minster Lovell, Cogges and South Leigh. Total distance just over 100 miles.
This will be a led ride at a steady pace of 12-14 mph. Riders are welcome to join us for all or part of the ride (meeting us en route by prior arrangement), making your own century if you want to. There is a car park by the village green in Kingham, for those just fancying the northern half of the route.
Coffee at Wyatt’s Tea Room, Hill Barn Farm, nr Great Rollright (SP313315), 24.5 miles (est. arr 10:15)
Lunch at Touchdown Cafe, Wellesbourne Airfield (SP262548 ), 50 miles (est. arr 13:00)
Afternoon refreshments at Kingham (the Plough inn for a drink and/or the village stores – open to 5pm), 77.5 miles (est. arr 4:30pm)
Estimated finish ~7:15 to 7:30pm
Due to the popularity of this ride, we expect to split into 2 groups. To help with organisation, please let Steve know if you are planning to come by Friday 18 May, and if you would prefer to join a slightly slower group.
