Cycling UK Oxfordshire organises its own rides and we also highlight some rides run by other local groups.
Even if you are not a Cycling UK member, you will be welcome on any ride that is within your capabilities and we will be happy to match you up with suitable rides. In general, you can ride for free on three rides before deciding whether to join Cycling UK.

Bicester Social Cycle Rides for Bicester Bike Day
Sun 19 July 2015 - 10:00am
Bicester Leisure Centre, Queens Avenue, Bicester, Oxfordshire OX26 2NR
One of our easy-paced 20-30 mile rides starting from Bicester on the Third Sunday of each month. We’ll have a coffee stop midway and aim to back in Bicester by 13:30.
This month our ride coincides with Bicester Bike Day, taking place on the Annex Field behind the Leisure Cntre from 11am-3pm.
We’ll be heading out to via Launton, Marsh Gibbon, Clavert and Steeple Claydon to the Village Stores in Twyford for coffee. There is a short climb on the way back that will bring us to the top of Poundon Hill from where there are extensive views all around. Return via Stratton Audley and Caversfield, a round trip of about 22 miles, but with a short cut option to coffee. We’ll be back in Bicester in plenty of time to check out Bike Day activities (entry free).
For those coming from further afield, there is plenty of free car parking at the Leisure Centre.
