CTC Witney cycling is a local group of Cycling UK, the UK’s national cycling charity. We ride each Sunday, enjoying the countryside and each other’s company. Sunday rides are between 30 and 60 miles and always include a cafe stop. Pace is determined by the group, but would not be considered ‘racy’ and no one gets left behind. We ride all manner of machines: MTBs, hybrids, tourers, racers, even the occasional tricycle!
The routes are decided on the day, according to who comes and what the weather is like. All rides start at 9:30am at the Buttercross in the centre of Witney.
See our Google group for further details of routes, updates and other chat about local cycling. Or contact Kevin Arnold on firstname.lastname@example.org, 07443 940036.
If you’re a local Cycling UK member and you’re interested in joining our rides or just a few discussions: join our Google group (click ‘Apply for group membership’ or ‘About’ and ‘Contact owner’). If you’re not yet a Cycling UK member you are welcome to join us for three rides before deciding whether to join.
